It belongs to the genre of fantasy and is similar to the writing style of George R.R. Martin. According to many, this will be the final book of the series.
However, the author who has been at it since 2011 has asked us not to believe any rumors until the book is finally available in the market. It will cover the story of Temerant, just like the previous part covers the story of Kvothe after the ending of that of arc. At the beginning of the process, Rothfuss admitted that he was not very fond of the title given and wished for it to be a little shorter. In one of the podcasts, Rothfuss claimed that the book has been making good progress. At this moment, considering the global lockdown due to the widespread Coronavirus pandemic, it will not be a surprise of we witness an even greater delay in the books release. That provision is right now on hold due to the rules of social distancing where these sites are only focussing on delivering essential items to households. Moreover, the second part of the series topped the Newyork Times Best Seller List. Till then, why not re-read the first and the second parts again. ![]() Dont worry, as soon as you lead the charge, were all going to follow. What an asshole. level 2 11 points 5 months ago Ive never, ever seen a more strained, toxic relationship between any form of entertainment provider and their customer base. Thanks for buying my previous two books, providing me with a life others could only dream of. But dont you fucking dare ask a question about that third of the story I promised you when you paid for the first two, how fucking dare you be so rude. Pat, in a nutshell. Continue this thread level 2 2 points 5 months ago Yeah he is. No doubt. But at this point, I just need to know that DoS WILL be published. Someday. No matter when. The problem with him its that after all this time, he just forgot the deep effect and impact that the story made in the people. Thats why after ten years were here, discussing their books level 1 9 points 5 months ago This bloke must be soooo sick of all of us level 2 8 points 5 months ago No kidding Im sick of all the whining, and its not even directed at me level 1 2 points 5 months ago Such a cock level 1 5 points 5 months ago Not off the table. If that timing still holds, if he announced a publication date today, that date would likely be in early 2021. It seems pretty much impossible for this book to come out in 2020 without any official publication date as of yet. Continue this thread level 2 3 points 5 months ago Its off the table for 2020, and you dont need PR to confirm that. I just recently finished the 2nd book, i read the 2nd much quicker than the first, but i wasnt blown away. The other main series i read, a long time ago, was harry potter (im not much of a reader). I think if i wasnt listening to the audiobook, and not having to sit there and read it all the time, i wouldnt have gotten through it. It just felt like a chore to read, there was too much happening while nothing was really happening. At this point id honestly just want him to release a cliff notes so i dont have to trodge through 800 pages about Denna and another single piece to the puzzle level 2 4 points 5 months ago Comparing kkc to a childrens book series, even what is arguably the best childrens book series ever written, is for lack of a better word. Folly. It should not surprise you that harry potters pacing is easier. Not a single word. Continue this thread level 2 Tree 1 point 5 months ago While you may feel that way, you have to remember that different people may feel differently about those parts of the book. I for one love the Denna parts in WMF, so reading them isnt a trodge for me. You may feel the pacing is bad because you dont like reading through some of those parts, but for those of us who enjoyed them, I dont think we would have any complaints about the pacing at all.
